Qualifications

• Two years of litigation experience after law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York State.
• Admitted to or eligible for SDNY/EDNY.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Federal practice or municipal liability experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the City in federal court and draft responsive pleadings.
• Appear in federal court and manage extensive discovery.
• Take and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and trials as needed.
• Provide high-level public service litigation for the City.
