Job summary

Department of the Interior in Oregon seeks a FUL-Budget Analyst responsible for routine budget analyst duties, developing, preparing and revising the unit budget, and drafting guidance for managers on funding estimates for the coming fiscal year.

The incumbent must meet minimum qualifications, including specialized experience at GS-7 level equivalent, or education requirements, and must articulate hours per week on resume; time-in-grade rules apply.

Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: at least one full year equivalent to GS-07 in Federal service, in budget/finance work.
• Education: master's degree or higher or 2 years of progressively higher graduate education; transcripts required.
• Combination of education and experience may meet requirements with annotated hours worked on resume.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and revise the unit budget and provide funding guidance.
• Assist managers with funding estimates and budget planning for the coming fiscal year.
