Job summary

Transportation Security Administration seeks Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial aviation from terrorism. Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience or a bachelor’s degree or higher, or a qualifying combo of education and experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national and at least 21 years old.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and pass health and fitness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorism and other threats.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights.
• Assess situations and respond with limited backup.
• Carry and maintain firearms proficiency as required.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and pursue warrants within authority.
• Collaborate with multi-agency partners to support security operations.
