Job summary

Steampunk seeks a Project Manager to manage delivery execution for data, AI governance, and security/identity workstreams within a large federal advisory program. You will serve as a client liaison, coach, and delivery lead across an engineering-focused environment.

The role requires 5+ years of Agile project management, PMP or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Local to the DC Metro Area, with strong stakeholder influence and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of project management experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Strong scheduling, performance measurement, and executive reporting skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Track deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks against SLA standards.
• Apply financial management and performance measurement within the workstreams.
• Partner with technical SMEs and architecture leadership to keep delivery on track.
• Report workstream status into the integrated schedule and leadership reviews.
• Maintain relationships with client stakeholders on the workstreams.
• Lead workstream team members and facilitate delivery discussions.
• Assess delivery environment and tailor Agile practices for the workstream.
• Support Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to delivery.
