Small Door is a membership-based veterinary care provider committed to high standards, with 24/7 telemedicine and transparent pricing. We seek a veterinary assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

You will work in our state-of-the-art facilities, assisting doctors, monitoring patients, and providing compassionate care to pets while upholding AAHA accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a veterinary assistant.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturdays).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Recognize medical emergencies and illnesses.
• Assessing patients and recording vitals.
• Assist doctors with diagnostics and treatments.
• Perform basic nursing care and husbandry.
• Monitor patient changes and provide compassionate care.
• Assist with radiography capture and sample preparation.
• Run in-house labs and prepare medications.
• Administer medications and support tele-triage shifts.
