Technical modeling and simulation in regard to mechanical robustness and thermal performance of advanced energy storage systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Close collaboration with battery system and mechanical design engineers.
• Execute FEA simulations to validate battery design concepts regarding mechanical robustness.

Education and experience:

• MS in Mechanical Engineering or relevant.
• Thermal & mechanical modeling and simulation skills.
• 5+ years FEA specifically experience with ANSA and ABAQUS tools.
• Fluency in English.
• 1+ years CAD (SolidWorks).
• FEA experience for crash, crush, mechanical shock and vibration analysis.
• Experience with Li-Ion battery systems thermal management and mechanical design.
