FDA/CDER seeks an ORISE Fellow to contribute to quantitative systems pharmacology modeling. Under a mentor, you will develop mechanistic models using R, Python and C to simulate pharmacology and analyze clinical study data.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (computational modeling, data science, pharmacology, or related).
• Proficiency in R, Python, and C for quantitative modeling and data analysis.
• Strong foundation in statistics, programming, and scientific computing.

Responsibilities

• Support development of quantitative systems pharmacology models.
• Use R, Python, and C to develop mechanistic models for drug polypharmacy studies.
• Analyze and visualize data from clinical studies to inform modeling and validation.
• Collaborate with FDA/CDER mentors and stakeholders to align modeling goals.
• Participate in HPC workflows to run simulations and calibrations.
