Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience in laboratory, industrial, custodial, manufacturing, food-processing, or similarly structured work environment.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety protocols, and detailed instructions.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning, sanitizing, or handling laboratory glassware.

Responsibilities

• Prepare media, solutions, reagents, and standards and adjust pH as directed.
• Sterilize materials using autoclaves and manage sterilization records.
• Assist with aseptic and non-aseptic sample preparation and handling of lab specimens.
• Wash glassware and maintain clean, organized work areas; monitor waste and safety practices.
• Support safety, quality-control documentation, and general laboratory maintenance.
