Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking a Hood Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and professionally, while upholding the company mission. This role supports a high-volume service environment at our on-site locations.

The Hood Technician will perform multi-point inspections, check fluid levels, and communicate any additional work to the service team, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is helpful.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Valid driver\'s license.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work accurately and quickly allowing customers to remain in their vehicles
• Perform multi-point inspection
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Advise service consultant/tech for additional work
• Inspect fluid levels of power steering reservoir and transmission
• Inspect belts, hoses, and wiper blades
• Check air pressure of tires
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
