Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking a Pit Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly for customers. You will perform multi-point inspections, advise on additional work, and maintain safety standards while supporting the service team.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and readiness to work weekends. You will contribute to a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance is welcome but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude and teamwork ability.
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work accurately and quickly to keep customers in their vehicles.
• Perform multi-point inspection on vehicles.
• Advise service consultant/tech for additional work needed.
• Service grease fittings, U-joints and steering knuckles with proper tools.
• Inspect fluid levels in rear differential and rear axle housings.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards and core values.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
