Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance and leadership development. You’ll rotate through sales, operations, fleet, and admin tasks to prepare for Branch Manager within 12–18 months.

Location at 6800 Auto Center Dr, Ventura, CA. Expect to learn fleet logistics, CRM usage, and performance coaching while building strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achievement of location sales goals; deliver excellent customer experience; learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: Support team with cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes and support deal completion; understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management; build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching; prepare for future leadership roles.
