Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring for a Backup Receiver to handle inbound goods and ensure accurate receiving procedures. You will operate equipment such as baler, compactor, and forklift, while keeping the receiving area clean and safe.

The role supports maximizing sales through proper receiving processes and collaboration with store leadership. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and move heavy loads is required, with a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Report discrepancies to managers and buyers and verify accuracy of records.
• Attend trainings and be able to use store equipment safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Work independently and communicate effectively with team and leadership.
• Capable of moving up to 60 lbs and lifting 1000 lbs with a pallet jack when needed.
• Use pallet jack to move products up to 150 feet over extended shifts.
• Vision for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
• Basic math, multi-tasking, and understanding retail receiving.
• Willing to perform other duties as needed.
