Job summary

Noodles & Company in Moorhead, MN is seeking a friendly Cook/Team Member to join our crew and provide guests with a great dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, handle transactions, and help prepare noodles, soups, salads and sandwiches while upholding brand standards and safety practices.

This role offers learning and growth opportunities, with potential cook, cashier and/or server duties, plus a free shift meal.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
• Take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety/security.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Prepare food items including prep, noodles, salads, soups, sandwiches.
• Check food quality and temperatures to ensure freshness and safety.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and setup/breakdown of the dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints.
• Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift.
• Act with integrity and promote company culture.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Position may include cook, cashier and/or server responsibilities.
• Adhere to appearance standards.
• Free Shift Meal.
