Job summary

Kirkland’s in San Marcos, TX is seeking a Stock Team Member to help with freight flow, backroom organization, and salesfloor replenishment. This position requires a high level of organization and urgency to maintain stock accuracy and store presentation.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking, markdowns, and maintaining an efficient stockroom while supporting store profitability and brand standards. This role typically requires flexibility for early mornings and off hours.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; stock experience preferred.
• Energetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals.
• Ability to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store. (often early mornings and off hours)
• Ability to lift and move 45 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Ability to climb ladders and lift bulky merchandise on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the receipt of all merchandise safely, timely and efficiently.
• Maintain an efficient and organized stockroom.
• Assist in assembling products, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishment.
• Provide support for driving profitable sales and protecting company assets.
• Take personal accountability for individual performance.
• Treat customers respectfully on entry to the salesfloor and adhere to dress code.
• Support company branding and initiatives during shifts.
• Ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner.
• Report to shift with a professional, positive attitude; uphold Kirkland’s Home Values.
