Job summary

Amazon's fulfillment centers are seeking Warehouse Associate to help prepare customer orders. You will be stocking, picking, packing, and processing returns, using scanners and moving goods with carts and dollies across a busy facility.

Roles operate 24/7 with flexible shifts, training provided on safety and PIT equipment. This is a fast-paced, physical role offering overtime opportunities and opportunities to learn forklift-type equipment.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older
• Understand and follow instructions in the required language
• Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Pick customer orders from shelves and pack items for shipment
• Load packed boxes onto trucks and unload incoming freight from trailers
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Some roles offer the opportunity to learn how to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
