Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, Texas is seeking a Marketplace Cashier/Cook to deliver excellent guest service by accurately processing food and beverage orders and preparing items in quick service areas.

You will adhere to tribal and casino regulations, maintain cash drawer security, operate the POS system, and help sustain a clean, professional work environment while supporting events and varied schedules.

Qualifications

Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D or related food service job experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub preferred.
Wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
Strong communication skills in English both written and oral. Spanish or other language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and efficiently process food and beverage orders and purchases through the POS system.
Maintain the accountability and security of their cash drawer.
Stock and clean workstation/venue to ensure presentable products.
Ensure and collect appropriate guest payment for food and beverage service.
Prepare food as needed in the quick service kitchens.
Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
Communicate in a positive, respectful manner to guests and staff.
Build knowledge of food & beverage offerings to answer questions accurately.
Attend required trainings and comply with casino guest service programs.
Monitor currency transaction reporting and anti-money laundering policies as required.
