Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Arcata, California. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week, in a fast-paced ED.

Ideal candidates hold an active California RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and must show proof of TB screen within 12 months. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork are vital.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
• Manage emergency situations and provide timely and effective patient treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient conditions and progress accurately.
