Job summary

UCLA Health Emergency Care Unit (ECU) is seeking an Administrative Clinical Care Partner to support patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. In a fast-paced emergency setting, you will help deliver safe, timely support and contribute to a patient-centered team.

You will perform basic patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene and mobility, and observing and reporting patient conditions. Adherence to infection control is essential.

Qualifications

• Current California CNA licensure OR enrollment in a state-approved nursing program with at least one completed med/surg rotation.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA certification required within one year of appointment.
• Ability to speak clearly and distinctly in English.
• Basic computer literacy preferred.
• Ability to read and write Standard English; basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, assist with hygiene and mobility, positioning, transfers and transport, range of motion exercises, and feeding/elimination support.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions to the clinical team.
• Adhere to infection control practices while delivering safe, timely patient care.
