Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is hiring a Cook for the Denny's inside our travel center in Strafford, Missouri. You will prepare a diverse range of meals, follow recipes, and help keep the kitchen clean and efficient during fast-paced shifts.

Walk-in interviews are held weekdays from 9am–11am and 1pm–4pm at the Denny's inside the travel center, 225 E Evergreen St, Strafford, MO. Experience is preferred and you must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a cook is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a diverse range of meals according to menu and recipes.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food for safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with diners.
