Job summary

Marathon Staffing is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for a warehouse facility in Newnan, GA. The welder will join a team to weld component parts and finished products according to customer specifications, under supervision, following detailed instructions, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

This full-time, long-term, temp-to-hire role offers a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime opportunities and starting pay at $20.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision.
• Experience operating hand tools and welding equipment.
• Must have experience with MIG Welding and pass a tape measure test.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Must have reliable transportation to Newnan, GA.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding using pulse voltage.
• Read and interpret blueprints for custom fabrication.
• Complete tack welding and assist with jig fabrication.
• Prepare and assemble components for final welding.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
