Job summary

Lowe's seeks a friendly cashier to ensure a quick, accurate checkout and help customers get the best value at our stores.

You will assist at the register, support the self-checkout area, and handle payments and exchanges while keeping a clean, safe workspace. This part-time role offers flexible schedules, access to Lowe's benefits, and opportunities to develop trade skills through our Track to the Trades program. We particularly encourage bilingual and veteran applicants.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
