Job summary

Meijer in Avon, IN is seeking a Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and ensure shelves are always stocked for a great shopping experience.

You will stock groceries, move items from pallets to shelves, dispose of trash, assist leadership to finish tasks on time, keep a clean, safe workspace, and work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day.

Qualifications

• Provides friendly, helpful customer service with a positive attitude.
• Able to learn and use basic technology and follow store procedures.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment and staying organized.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately and efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard/trash in backroom areas.

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring
