Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a motivated stylist to act as a trusted advisor, helping customers build outfits and stay ahead of trends. You will engage with clients in-store and via digital channels, offering personalized recommendations and proactive follow-up.

Training is provided, with potential growth into premium styling programs. Successful candidates are versatile, communication-driven, and eager to develop a personal client base through appointments and social selling.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within a retail environment is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with customers in-store and online.
• Comfort with personal styling and fashion guidance.

Responsibilities

• Offer confident, honest feedback to help customers choose pieces that fit their style.
• Create connections via in-store and digital tools to inspire customers and share curated looks.
• Drive sales through outreach and appointment-setting during events and non-event periods.
• Follow up after purchases, share new arrivals, and invite customers to Nordstrom events.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and support cross-department collaboration.
• Sell across departments and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
