Job summary

Talbots Store Cape Cod Mall is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, promote fashion products, and support store operations at the Hyannis, MA location. You’ll engage with customers, build relationships, and stay updated on trends to create outfits and drive sales.

The role requires energy for a fast-paced environment, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence and styling expertise.
• Strong verbal communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist management to build store business.
• Support service enhancers to build relationships including Concierge usage.
• Serve multiple customers, multi-task, and handle projects concurrently.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and new arrivals, with product knowledge on fit, color and style.
• Create outfits for customers and suggest matching items.
• Participate in learning opportunities and respond to coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics such as clientelling and outreach.
• Complete operational tasks including filling orders and replenishment.
