Job summary

The Talbots LLC is seeking a part-time sales associate at our Little Rock store to deliver an exceptional fashion and shopping experience. You will use styling expertise to create outfits, suggest items, and help customers feel confident in their choices.

You’ll work with a team to meet sales goals, stay informed about trends, and participate in store initiatives. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required to support our busy seasons.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise and love of fashion.
• Strong ambition and passion for achieving goals; thrives in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and high level of integrity.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, evolving store environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability of 15–20 hours per week; flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Assist the store management to help grow the business.
• Support service initiatives (e.g., Concierge) to strengthen client relationships.
• Serve multiple customers, multi-task, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and product knowledge (fit, color, style).
• Create outfits for customers and suggest items to meet needs.
• Strive to exceed sales and service metrics through learning, coaching, and feedback.
• Complete operational tasks such as order filling, replenishment and recovery.
