Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is hiring a Salesperson in California. The role focuses on fashion, styling, and growing a customer following both in-store and digitally through selling tools, text, and social media.

You will build lasting relationships and provide service tailored to customers' terms while expanding Nordstrom Rewards. Expect to work a flexible schedule with varied hours. You may assist in other departments as needed and engage with team members to ensure the department remains customer-ready

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build your expertise.
• Support team to keep the department ready: fill orders, stock, re-merchandise, price markdowns, light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• Hours/schedule vary by week based on business needs.
• May be asked to work in another department.
