Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate in Texas is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, assist with purchases, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

You will process inventory, manage fitting rooms, operate the register, answer phone inquiries, and create engaging social media posts to promote deals and events. Availability includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; both part-time and full-time roles are available.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for providing outstanding and friendly customer service.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Take initiative - if they see something that needs to be done, they do it!
• Customer service or cash handling experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation.
• 6+ months experience is a plus
• Availability including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond: greet everyone with a smile and assist them with their needs.
• Process new inventory efficiently: tagging, sensoring, hanging, and merchandising clothing.
• Maintain a tidy and organized store: straighten the sales floor, clear hung items, dust, and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Manage fitting rooms with a helpful and friendly attitude.
• Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, always with a positive demeanor.
• Answer phone inquiries with a cheerful and helpful tone.
• Make fun posts on social media to promote deals, new product, events and more - TT, IG, FB
