Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Digital Designer to join our hybrid team in Carlsbad, CA. The role spans email marketing assets, social content, and digital production with a strong focus on responsive design and UI/UX for digital products.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fashion-related design environments, strong typography skills, and proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. The position is contract-based with a US-based employer offering benefits listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• 3+ years professional experience in a design agency, in-house firm, brand or similar in the fashion industry.
• Outstanding knowledge and expertise in layout, typography, illustration, identity, digital production and publishing across editorial formats and platforms.
• Detailed understanding of todays media landscape and how people engage with content, with in-depth knowledge of interactive communication, processes and user-interface design for digital products.
• Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at communicating and defending creative work.

Responsibilities

• Design Digital Marketing Assets including emails, digital collateral and social media assets.
• Work with Sr. Digital Designer and cross functional teams to develop the visual direction.
• Keep up to date with emerging trends in fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to the design team.
• Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively outstanding, delivered in a timely fashion and within agreed budgets.
• Collaborate with other divisions to create a cohesive omni channel experience.
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
