Job summary

Centric Brands designs, sources, markets and sells high quality apparel and accessories. The Designer will lead seasonal design development from concept to delivery, translating trends into market-ready products for Merrell and other brands.

You will collaborate with technical design, production, and external vendors to ensure timely, cost-efficient designs. The role requires experience in women’s and men’s apparel, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in design tools

Qualifications

• 4–7 years experience in apparel design with focus on Women's apparel.
• Extensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, color ways, sewing techniques, fabrication and trim.

Responsibilities

• Execute seasonal design development from concept to delivery.
• Design per style plans, sales needs and trends; ensure timely product development calendar.
• Create sketches; review line sheets and spec sheets; maintain design archives.
