Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Stocking Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service and keep our shelves stocked and organized. This entry-level role supports grocery operations, pricing accuracy, and merchandising with a focus on efficiency and a friendly attitude.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets, assist with back-room organization, and collaborate with leadership to meet daily goals while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level stocking clerk with a focus on customer service.
• Willing to work overnight shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using basic technology.
• Team player who supports shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
