H2ajobs in Oklahoma is seeking general farm labor for pecan harvest and processing. You will dig field grown trees, plant and prune trees, irrigate, and perform nursery and orchard tasks; operate basic farm equipment.

Housing and meals are provided; occasional transportation to stores; be able to lift 50 lbs; random drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• One month of recent and verifiable farm experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Random drug test may be required on hire.
• Experience with field operations and equipment is a plus.

Responsabilités

Description du poste

Primarily harvest and process pecans. Dig field grown trees, plant trees, prune trees, stake trees, irrigation and general nursery and pecan orchard work. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: clean work areas, load and unload materials and

commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, operate self propelled machinery, position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops, use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: dirt moving equipment, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, skid steers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: trees.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
