Job summary

H2ajobs in South Dakota seeks a hands-on horse care assistant to help with foaling and daily stable duties. You will work outdoors in all weather, helping newborn foals and maintaining the barn environment.

Responsibilities include brushing, turning horses in or out, feeding and administering prescribed medications, and keeping fences, stalls and equipment in good condition. Housing and meals are provided, with transportation reimbursement available.

Meals: Will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities.

Transport: Will reimburse the permit worker to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
