Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm laborer in Tennessee to grow a variety of vegetables. You will perform planting, tending, harvesting, packing, and transporting produce, with housing and meals provided by the employer.

Experience of at least two months in agriculture is required. The role may include visa-related arrangements and transportation to the work site as part of the package.

Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables per employer specs.
• Prepare fields for planting (tilling, mulching, staking, irrigation).
• Hand weed, thin, prune, and hoe crops as needed.
• Pick, sort, pack, and load produce for storage or shipment.
• Operate and maintain basic farm equipment used in crop production.
• Apply fertilizers and assist irrigation under supervision.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, packing facilities, and equipment.
• Assist with crop protection activities (covering crops, monitoring field conditions).
• Load/unload harvested produce and agricultural supplies.
• Follow all food safety and worker safety policies.

Job description

Clean and sanitize work areas, packing facilities, and equipment.

Assist with crop protection activities, such as covering crops and monitoring field conditions.

Load and unload harvested produce and agricultural supplies.

Follow all food safety, worker safety, and employer policies and procedures.

Perform general farm labor related to the production of mixed vegetables, and other produce.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Housing will have free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and transportation will be provided to the grocery store weekly.

Transport: Inbound: The employer will provide commercial bus tickets or private van transportation from the consulate city to the place of employment, paid for in advance. After arrival, the employer will reimburse the worker for daily subsistence and transportation costs incurred to the consulate city, at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges. All visa costs will be paid in advance by the employer as required by regulations.
