Job summary

H2ajobs in Minnesota is seeking a Farmworker and Laborer to perform a variety of crop, nursery and greenhouse tasks under SOC 45-2092. No prior experience required; training provided on the job.

You will inspect, grade, sort, and handle post-harvest work, operate tractors and GPS-equipped machinery, load produce, and help maintain farm buildings and grounds. Employer-provided housing and meals are available; occasional transportation to stores may be provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions (heat, humidity, wind, cold)
• Must obtain a valid driver’s license within 30 days of hire
• Random drug testing may occur after hire

Responsibilities

• Inspect, grade, sort, and post-harvest treatment of crops
• Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and buildings
• Operate tractors and GPS-enabled machinery to plow and harvest
• Load agricultural products into trucks and transport to market
• Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping
• Speak English to coordinate with farm managers
