Farm Job Search is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager near Georgia. The role involves supervising tractor drivers, maintaining irrigation systems, calibrating equipment, planting, and harvest oversight. Strong leadership and farming or mechanical experience are required.

Salary ranges from $500.00 to $800.00 per week, with benefits included. Candidates must have a driver's license, pass background checks and drug testing, and may need a Chemical Applicators license or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience in farming or mechanical work.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Driver's license required.
• Willingness to work long hours and learn new skills.
• Chemical Applicators license or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Experience supervising others and leading a team.
• Experience with crops like corn, beans, blueberries, peanuts, or similar crops.

Responsibilities

• Supervise tractor drivers, perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Report to the General Farm Manager.
• Operate and maintain center pivot irrigation systems.
• Calibrate planters and perform tractor repairs.
• Locate and pick up equipment and parts.
• Plant crops and maintain planting records.
• Evaluate plant health and apply fertilizer and chemicals with records.
• Oversee harvest crews and recording harvest activities.
