Job summary

C & B Operations, with a network of 38 John Deere dealerships, seeks a Service Technician for its Lake Park location to diagnose, service, and maintain agricultural equipment. You’ll work on John Deere and competitive machines, complete detailed notes, and help grow the service department through quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field is preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion to perform tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on agricultural equipment.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Complete all job notes and digital timecard entries; track material used.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep work area, tools and vehicles clean and organized.
• Promote and sell service work, inspections and parts to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
