Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of experience in electro-mechanics, including logic systems, digital circuitry, and electro-mechanical devices.
• Substitution options: vocational/technical training or apprenticeship programs may replace some experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, calibrate, repair, and overhaul fare-collection electronics and electromechanical devices.
• Set up equipment for testing and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Identify defective conditions and perform necessary adjustments or replacements.
• Maintain records of work performed and ensure compliance with regulations.
