Job summary

Xyant Technology, established in 1995, seeks a FAR/DFARS Property Specialist to join our on-site team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will support customer property compliance across multiple programs and coordinate with government and prime customers, reporting to the Site Customer Property Manager.

This role emphasizes cycle counting, warehouse property management, and generating property status reports to ensure audit readiness and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Has knowledge in customer property management, FAR, DFARS, and ability to read and apply regulatory requirements.
• Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager.
• Communicates with parties within and outside of own department; may involve customers/vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Effective writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assure compliance to contract requirements, regulations, and Our client’s policies and procedures for managing customer property.
• Perform cycle count inventory
• Assist with warehouse property management
• Interface with site leadership and functional personnel to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.
• Generate and provide accurate and timely property status reports and metrics for management and internal and external customers.
• Perform property closeout activities.
• Partner with Contract Management organization to ensure property management related requirements are executed as needed.
• Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements, and support EH&S efforts to improve practices

Location: Cedar Rapids, IA (Onsite)

Duration:12 Months Contract

Hourly Pay: $24/hr

This position will be onsite, and reports to the Site Customer Property Manager.

Job Summary:

• The Customer Property Team supporting to our client’s, Mission Systems Business Unit, based in Cedar Rapids, IA has an opening for a self-motivated Property Adim, who is a team player able to support company compliance to customer & government property requirements.
• This person will be providing support to multiple programs, as well as support to the site and property organization’s procedures and processes.
• This person will work closely with the central property organization, Government customer, Prime customers, Government auditing agencies and internal stakeholders.
