Job summary

Fan Grill Squad at Dairy Queen seeks friendly team members to prepare hot foods, serve guests with hospitality, and maintain high food-safety standards during peak hours. You will work closely with an Owner/Operator and leadership team, gaining life and business skills while delivering a memorable dining experience.

• Safely prepare, cook and present food quickly and efficiently, while meeting our standards.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean at all times.
• Work safely around kitchen equipment.
• Know and perform well at assigned jobs.
• Maintaining a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Show up on time, maintain a great attitude and stay focused for your entire shift.
• Constantly improve yourself by finding ways to do your work better and/or faster.
• Be responsible to fill your shift if you are unable to work.
• Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for your work.

As part of the Fan Grill Squad you satisfy the crave of our guests by preparing delicious hot food offerings. Candidates must be committed to creating fans by serving guests with hospitality during high volume periods, and insuring a great experience. We consider our Team Members to be more than just employees, they are a highly-valued part of the restaurant. Our squads are composed of people who are friendly, enthusiastic, and they “connect” with our Fans to create positive and memorable experiences. Key responsibilities include practicing the highest levels of food safety, cooking and preparing foods using our Just in Time process, serving the freshest product possible while maintaining a clean environment. We hire people of all ages and backgrounds who love to serve others and exhibit integrity, excellence and commitment. We will teach you everything else you need to know.

Working directly with an independent Owner/Operator and excellent leadership team, team members gain life experience that goes far beyond just serving great products in a friendly environment. Our leaders invest time and energy into each member of their squad, teaching them important business skills for the future. We measure success by the quality of our relationships with team members and Fans.
