Job summary

Qualifications

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Social Services, Higher Education, Communications or related field.
  • One year of community outreach or coordination experience is required.
  • Public speaking experience and ability to facilitate sessions with diverse audiences is required.
  • Experience with child welfare systems or knowledge of community resources is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with strategy development and implementation for training, advocacy, outreach and public education activities.
  • Provide family violence education to diverse audiences across multiple sectors.
  • Facilitate trainings using varied instructional formats (role play, simulations, lectures, webinars).
  • Support outreach by developing partnerships to promote family violence education and awareness.
  • Represent TCFSH at community events and meetings.
  • Develop training curriculum and materials aligned with TCFSH strategic plan.
