Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a qualified educator to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate community education activities on family violence. You will engage diverse audiences across business, faith, healthcare, legal, and academia, providing engaging training and outreach.

You will develop curricula, build partnerships, and represent TCFSH at community events, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s strategic goals and public education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Social Services, Higher Education, Communications or related field.
• One year of community outreach or coordination experience is required.
• Public speaking experience and ability to facilitate sessions with diverse audiences is required.
• Experience with child welfare systems or knowledge of community resources is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with strategy development and implementation for training, advocacy, outreach and public education activities.
• Provide family violence education to diverse audiences across multiple sectors.
• Facilitate trainings using varied instructional formats (role play, simulations, lectures, webinars).
• Support outreach by developing partnerships to promote family violence education and awareness.
• Represent TCFSH at community events and meetings.
• Develop training curriculum and materials aligned with TCFSH strategic plan.
