Position Summary

The Family Support Specialist is responsible for providing families with a wide array of services to equip and supply family members with the necessary tools to successfully prevent out‑of‑home placement or reunification services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, marriage and family therapy, or related human service field.
• Belief system and engagement in faith practices compatible with those of the United Methodist Church.
• Ability to pass standard background checks including drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry and Sex Offenders Registry.
