Description

Family Services Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support to the family services staff and ensure the quality of services to families.
• Fully utilize data management systems to monitor the eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance of children to comply with federal and state program regulations.
• Verify income and eligibility qualifications of children and families, and ensure applications are complete and data are accurately entered into the data management system.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive Recruitment, Selection, and Enrollment plan for the Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Program (MSHS) that includes 10% mandated enrollment priorities for children with disabilities and provide training to staff and parents on recruitment.
• Ensure ongoing monitoring, tracking, follow-up, and analysis of enrollment and attendance data, and produce regular reports for management meetings.
