Job summary

AWARE, Inc. in Missoula, MT seeks a Family Recovery Professional on a full-time mid-day/evening shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30pm-11:30pm).

You will provide direct care for mothers and young children, support progress toward treatment goals, and work within a trauma-informed, family-centered model. The role includes collaborating with the team, coaching on parenting, and helping with daily routines, safety, and documentation in the EMR system.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement individual support plans with trauma-informed techniques.
• Knowledge of child development and behavior management.
• Maintain professional boundaries while delivering empathetic care.
• Basic computer literacy and use of electronic medical records systems.
• Commitment to confidentiality and respectful, supportive care.

Responsibilities

• Establishes structured daily routines for mothers and children.
• Plans and supervises activities to build skills and coping.
• Conducts regular check-ins to ensure a health mindset.
• Delivers coaching on child development with the team coordinator.
• Assists with child care needs as indicated.
• Oversees mother-child interactions during daily schedules.
• Monitors child well-being in the treatment home.
• Assists with client calls and visitors.
• May assist in medication distribution program.
• Ensures a safe, clean environment through routine cleaning.
• Follows Treatment Plans and Unconditional Care Philosophy.
• Records data in EMR system accurately.
