Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience supporting children, families, or community programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional boundaries.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, ability to lift 20 lbs., and availability for evenings and occasional weekends.
  • Preferred: Trauma-informed experience and bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and lead engaging activities for children, parents, and families that strengthen relationships, parenting skills, and social connections.
  • Coordinate guest speakers, community partners, and special events.
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain the Family Activity Center and supplies.
  • Track participation, volunteer activities, and program records.
  • Collaborate with staff and partners to support family success.
