Job summary

SANITAS HEALTHCARE OF TEXAS PA is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive care to patients across all ages. The role is on-site in Houston area, with potential travel as needed to meet business needs, and requires Board-certified Family Medicine along with active medical licensure.

The physician will conduct exams, manage chronic diseases, educate patients on preventive care, and coordinate with specialists. Strong communication and commitment to CME are essential.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor degree or DO from an accredited institution.
• 3 years residency training in Family Medicine.
• Current unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board certification in Family Medicine.
• Current State D.E.A. Certificate.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Advanced English language proficiency; Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient care: perform examinations and assess illnesses; provide preventive care.
• Health promotion: educate patients on healthy lifestyles and screenings.
• Chronic disease management: manage diabetes, hypertension, asthma; coordinate care.

Job Summary

A Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) is a healthcare professional specialized in providing comprehensive medical care to individuals of all ages within a family unit. Essential Job Functions

• Patient Care - Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses. Provide routine check-ups and preventive care services.
• Health Promotion and Education - Educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. Discuss age-appropriate screenings and immunizations with patients.
• Chronic Disease Management - Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. Coordinate care with specialists when needed.
• Family-Centered Care - Foster open communication to address family health concerns. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
