Job summary

PPDG is seeking qualified Family Practice Physicians to provide comprehensive medical care to patients at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. You will evaluate and treat emergent, urgent, and non-emergent patients from newborns to adults over 65. Duties include scheduled appointments, walk-in care, and coordination with specialists.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 9 hours/day with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.

Qualifications

Must hold M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
Current Family Medicine board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Completion of an approved internship and residency program.
Active medical license to practice Family Medicine.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current.

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients within the physician’s scope and privileges.
Prescribe appropriate treatments and coordinate with specialty providers.
Provide preventive care and health maintenance, including annual exams.
Order diagnostic testing and referrals as needed.
Maintain a patient panel and participate in peer reviews and quality-improvement activities.
