Job summary

The JRF Community Health Center seeks a Family Practice Physician to deliver high-quality outpatient care for patients of all ages. This role supports both part-time and full-time scheduling with emphasis on comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with NJ licensure, CDS and DEA, and have experience in public health or community clinics. EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred) and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current New Jersey medical license, CDS and DEA.
• Board certified or eligible physician (MD/DO).
• Experience in community health or primary care is preferred.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (preferably eClinicalWorks).
• Ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive family medicine outpatient care for patients of all ages.
• Interview patients, obtain histories, and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses with coordinated care plans.
• Coordinate referrals with internal and external services as needed.
• Document thoroughly in EMR and communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Job Summary:

The JRF Community Health Center has an immediate needfor Family Practice Physician to join our mission of delivering quality healthcare and providing direct patient services. The ideal candidate will offer high-quality care to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, while also promoting overall wellness. This role is open to part or full time hours.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide complete, comprehensive, family-oriented outpatient care for patients across all age groups, including health examinations and treatment of medical conditions, to include follow-up, in an ambulatory care setting
• Interview patients to obtain medical history, to evaluate and treat patients in accordance with health center policies and procedures to ensure top quality treatment and service
• Manage both acute and chronic illnesses, developing and coordinating appropriate plans of care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care with both internal services of the clinic and/or external agencies for additional services required
• Collaborate with all other Providers, Nurse Practitioners, Assistants and/or any certified health care professionals who provide care to the facility’s patients
• Perform minor procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care
• Referrals to specialists as needed
• Order and interpret diagnostic laboratory tests
• Maintain thorough and accurate records via Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
• Provide clear written and verbal communications to patients and staff.
• Adhere to the highest standards of medical practice, ethics, and professionalism at all times.
• Ability to familiarize themselves with JRF-CHC Policies and Procedures and closely follow them
• Participate in all mandatory JRF Community Health Center Meetings
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified/Eligible Physician MD/DO
• Current New Jersey Licensure, CDS and DEA
• Hospital admitting privileges
• BLS or ACLS certified
• Experience in a public health or community clinic setting providing primary care to patients from low-income economic status preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, preferably eClinicalWorks.
• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, education, racial, religious, ethnic and professional backgrounds

Benefits:

Pay range: $85-90/hr.
