Job summary

Maxim Locum Tenens seeks a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in family or internal medicine for outpatient care at a Fort Polk, LA facility. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with an initial contract of 6 months to 1 year.

The role offers malpractice insurance, easy credentialing, and weekly direct deposit pay through Maxim Locum Tenens and Advanced Practitioners, a division of Maxim Healthcare Services.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required for physician role.
• Family medicine or internal medicine specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for active duty personnel and families.
• Deliver comprehensive primary care in an outpatient setting.
• Coordinate care and manage routine and preventive services.
