Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks a board-certified Family Physician to join its Primary Care Float Pool in Gettysburg. The role offers a part-time day-shift schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with no on-call duties and no patient panel obligations, providing flexible coverage across Adams County.

You will rotate through 13 PC practices, addressing acutes, routines, hospital follow-ups and AWVs, using EPIC EHR and a Dax AI scribe. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or Board-eligible.
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple PC practices in Adams County as needed.
• See acutes, routines, hospital follow-ups and annual wellness visits (AWV).
• Cover vacations and provider vacancies as part of the float pool.
• Schedule includes one day per week with regular hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What you can expect at your practice:

• Schedule: One day a week
• Regular hours: 8AM – 4:30PM
• Float to any of our 13 PC practices in Adams County
• Cover vacations, LOAs, and provider vacancies
• Will see acutes, routines, hospital follow-ups and AWV
• EPIC electronic health record and Dax Ai scribe

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required
