Family Medicine Physician | New Mexico

We're partnering with several established healthcare organizations across New Mexico to find Family Medicine physicians who want more than a job. Think wide open skies, a lower cost of living, a genuine sense of community, and a practice built around how you want to work.

Whether you're a new grad looking for the right place to plant roots or an experienced FM physician ready for more autonomy and less red tape, we have a spot for you in locations like Las Cruces, Gallup, Portales, or Silver City.

What You'll Be Doing

• Outpatient-focused Family Medicine, with flexibility depending on the site: 100% outpatient options at most locations, and optional hospitalist or inpatient rotations for physicians who want the variety and the extra earning potential
• Broad adult primary care: chronic disease management, preventive care, vaccinations, common acute complaints, and procedures based on your training and interest
• Patient volumes generally in the 15 to 25 completed visits per day range once ramped up, with realistic, staged expectations while you build your panel
• Support from a dedicated medical assistant, on-site or nearby lab, pharmacy, and imaging, and modern EMR tools including Dragon dictation and AI ambient scribing at several sites
• New grads welcome at some locations, and "build your own adventure" practices where you help shape scope, procedures, and workflow

Schedules Built Around You

No two of our partner clinics run the exact same schedule, and that's the point. Depending on the site, you can find:

• Four-day or 4.5-day workweeks
• Minimal or no call, and phone-only call rotations where offered
• No inpatient admitting responsibility at several locations
• Optional hospitalist rotations for physicians who want them, with compensation that reflects the added responsibility

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary with productivity (wRVU) incentive models layered on top
• Signing bonuses and relocation assistance available, varying by site
• Loan repayment options may be available, including New Mexico's state loan repayment program (up to $75,000 per year) for eligible physicians
• New Mexico also offers a free initial license for new grads and an annual physician tax credit
• CME allowance and dedicated CME days
